Kyle Welch is a seasoned communicator and dynamic preacher with over 19 years of ministry experience. He has served on preaching and lead teams, working to shape the sermon calendar and cast vision to guide people in their spiritual growth.

While on staff with Shepherd Church in California—a multi-site, 12,000-member congregation—he collaborated on sermon series and preaching, trained next-generation speakers, and created and published curriculum for at-home groups. In his current role as the Casa Grande Campus Pastor at Compass Church, he has tripled attendance, launched a second service, and established multiple new ministries to serve the congregation and its surrounding community in Casa Grande, Arizona.

With a background in theology, Kyle’s passion is to present the Bible in new and compelling ways, challenging people’s perspectives and giving them the tools to develop and deepen their own faith. Through his preaching, he desires for people to know that there is a God who loves them, who accepts them, and wants a saving relationship with them.

Kyle’s journey following Jesus has produced overflowing blessings from overwhelming challenges. After surviving a cancer diagnosis, surgery, and subsequent chemotherapy treatments, he married the love of his life, Monica, in 2014. The pair share two children—Jacob and Allison. He is an avid baseball fan (GO CUBS!) and film enthusiast.
